Draws and Trade Promotions

Trade Promotion for Dates and Mates (‘DnM’) will be organised through use of DnM social media platforms and drawn using the DnM Draws and Promotion application developed by Zeus Design, see https://zeusdesign.com.au for more details.

General draws will be run monthly whilst special draws will be organised based on public holidays, special occasions or specific promotions based on businesses or areas. General draws enable DnM supporters the ability to obtain draw tokens for 27 days and allows 1 day to collate and review data prior to the draw. Details of Special draws will be specified on promotional material as well as through social media channels. Times will be arranged and allocated so that information can be collated prior to the draw being completed.

GENERAL DRAW DETAILS

  • Start: 1st Day of Every Month;

  • End: 27th Day of Every Month; and

  • Draw: 28th Day of Every Month.

BENEFICIARY/PURPOSE

DnM trade promotions are organised with the purpose of creating exposure and endorse small businesses. Entry to draws will be based on tokens obtained by entrants and clients of DnM and partnering businesses. Token values are assigned based on subscriptions and interactions with social media posts. Valuations that are displayed on promotional materials released in relation to the general or special draws override those listed on these terms and conditions. Draws are designed to encourage variety of experiences in relation to industries for client entertainment and fulfilment.

ENTRY DETAILS

Tokens are obtained through interactions with our social media channels and conditions provided through various promotional material. Be advised that the first two options are automatically applied to verified accounts. Token valuations are listed below.

  • 1 Token: Subscribing to our Social Media Channels or our Email Promotions;

  • 3 Tokens: Following our Social Medial Channels;

  • 7 Tokens: Interacting with Posts and Uploads made by our Social Media Channels; and

  • 15 Tokens: Sharing Posts and Uploads to Friends and Family Members.

ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

Draw entry is open to residents of New South Wales, Australia aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the draw. Each entrant is only eligible for one account per social media platform. All prizes will have their own conditions for being claimed.

Unless stipulated as an in-house draw, tokens cannot be obtained by staff of Dates and Mates (Australia), supporting businesses or their immediate families, i.e. those living with them.

RAFFLE APPLICATION

The draw will be undertaken through the ‘DnM Draws and Promotion’ application developed by Zeus Design. The application is stored locally on a mobile device platform. Access to the device is reserved for Dates and Mates (Australia) representatives, supporting business management and government regulators. Details of the application are available through contacting Dates and Mates (Australia) management.

DRAW METHOD

Draws will be conducted in the presence of supporting business management or within the presence of an independent witness. Winning tokens will be excluded from the subsequent prizes. The draw will be undertaken in accordance with NSW Department of Liquor and Gaming Regulations.

NOTIFICATION AND PUBLICATION OF WINNERS

General draw winners will be notified by text message and/or email within 24 hours of the draws. Winners and the organiser will arrange a manner of exchange. Special draw winners will be notified and published in accordance with promotional materials. Once prize has been received, confirmation is to be sent to the organiser so that it may be published on Dates and Mates (Australia) social media channels. Winners may also be posted on the Supporting business social media. If requested by the organiser, entrants must produce proof of age and residency prior to being awarded a prize.

PRIZE CLAIMING CONDITIONS

General draw winners have 1 week (7 days) from the date notified in which to respond with organisers regarding claiming prizes. Special draw will specify details for claiming prizes either through promotional material or supporting business websites. Should contact not be received or organisers notified prior to the draw being undertaken by entrants of reasons for delay, the prizes will be redrawn. Should the winner be deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions or a response received by the winners by the claim date, the organiser reserves the right to redraw the prize.

RECORD KEEPING

Token allocations, draw documents and corresponding computer-generated/mobile device generated documents will be kept for 1 year after the date of the draw on a local Dates and Mates (Australia) hard drive. The names and photos of prize winners may be displayed on the Dates and Mates (Australia) social media. The personal information from entrants that may be collected are their:

  • Name;

  • Phone Number; and

  • Email Address or Social Media Channels.

COMPLAINTS

If you would like to provide feedback or tell us how we can improve, please contact us immediately. Complaints and grievances are able to be made through contacting Dates and Mates (Australia) on 0457 973 432 or email contact@mydnm.com.au. Once the complaint has been made, the point of contact can then resolve the matter in a number of ways:

  • Request further information and investigation;

  • Discussing options; and/or

  • Escalation to Legal or NSW Governing Body.

The goal is to ensure that all entrants are satisfied with the handling of their concerns by undertaking due diligence and acting in a fair and reasonable manner.

PRIVACY POLICY

Information collected will be subject to the Privacy Policy of Dates and Mates (Australia) and subsequent supporting business organising the trade promotion. The purpose of the information collected is to enable and Dates and Mates (Australia) and subsequent supporting businesses to contact entrants. Dates and Mates (Australia) is not responsible for the use of information collected by subsequent supporting businesses, their privacy policies is able to be accessed through the links provided on promotional material.

Disclaimer:

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties, and conditions relating to our website and the use of this website. Nothing in this disclaimer will:

  • Limit or exclude our or your liability for death or personal injury;

  • Limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
